Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
Aloha Girls!
I absolutely love living here on the North Shore in Hawaii! I moved here waay back in 1975. I still love this place after all these years and thankful for family and friends we’ve made along the way. When I’m driving homeward bound on the road where all the pretty Norfolk Pine Christmas trees are planted on either side of the road, AND I can see far off in the distance, the ocean shore... I am reminded of the steadfast, unchanging, never-wavering, character of God. I usually am stirred up by the beauty I see, and speak out a thank You prayer to the Lord; thanking Him that I still get to live here in Haleiwa; the place where it’s summertime all year long! I do miss the Fall season though, with the ever-changing colorful leaves.
Although seasons come and go… God never changes! He remains the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. What TRUTH to hold on to - - in this unbelievable, ever-changing world. Look around! Our world is changing fast - - right before our eyes! Unthinkable things! What would have been considered unusual, wrong, not true, only a few years ago…today it’s accepted and celebrated, as truths that have changed, rebooted and progressing.
I pray you find comfort + peace of mind, knowing God never changes. He doesn’t alter the rules or revise our moral values. He doesn’t move the line. Jesus is always the same. His Word is Truth. He remains steadfast and true to His Word. We don’t have to fear what the future holds; although it’s scary. He’s reigning over all! That includes the mess of this world with the ever-shifting values of what’s right and what’s wrong. It also includes the difficulties you may be facing today. Jesus is aware of it all. He can be trusted. Hold on to hope. Jesus is our hope and He’s coming back soon for His bride. YAY! Everything is falling into place…
“… Therefore, we who have fled to Jesus for refuge
can have great confidence as we hold on to the HOPE that lies before us.
This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls…”
Hebrews 6:18-19
God bless you, Karen
