What Easter Week Looks Like

Good Friday Evening (4/19/19) - If you would like to help set-up we will need servants at 4:00pm to help with setting up chairs. We will also need some help setting up some fencing around the Children’s ministry tent. We will have all the equipment needed for the work so we really just need muscle.

Friday Night - Good Friday Worship Service. We begin at 7:00pm with worship led by Tyler and team, prayer, then communion and more worship. Folks, there can be no Easter Service without what happened at Good Friday, some 2,000 Years ago!

EASTER Service - Here’s what I do (Pastor Mike):

I arrive EARLY. For me it’s sometimes between 6:00-6:30am. I highly recommend arriving by around 7:00am.

I first drop off my wife-ALONG WITH THE FOOD WE CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST - then I park my car at Kaia Park, and either walk back to Alii, or take the free NSCF Shuttle van.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SOME FOOD FOR THE BREAKFAST. HERE’S THE SUGGESTED LIST: Due to Health Department Regulations, all foods need to be store bought and packaged by the manufacturer. Nothing is to be cooked at your home. Again, please arrive early (7:00am) and drop off all the food items at the hospitality tent BEFORE THE SERVICE.

After the Service, we encourage everyone to go to the food tent for a free continental breakfast. This is an excellent time for friendship evangelism. We’ve even seen people get saved during all the little one-on-one situations that take place at this time. Also at this time, there will be an army of people starting to put away all the chairs, etc., under the big tent.

Around an hour after the food begins, we’ll begin the WATER BAPTISM service. We’ll gather back under the big tent, and have a time of folks who want to get baptized share about what Jesus means to them , or why they are getting Baptized. We then go down to the water’s edge and have the baptism service. This is truly one of the best parts of Easter! For the Keiki, we encourage the dads to assist the Church leaders in baptizing their own Keiki.

Finally, for Tear-Down: this is for after the service on Sunday morning, we need helpers to help stack chairs, take down lights, sound and just clean up around the grounds so that we leave Ali’i Beach Park Better then we found it.
