MALAWI EVANGELISM REPORT
The disciples always say that they will not stop expressing their sincere gratitude for all the support they get from you. All the time they say that without your obedience they would not hear and know the power of the Gospel.
The message of salvation is continued being proclaimed among the Muslims along the Lakeshore. Although we have well known centres which we use as our base of operations, we usually go beyond them and reach out to other catchment areas in form of open air and door to door evangelisms. Despite all the obstacles and resistances, we still manage to win some souls for Christ. The won souls encounter a lot of pressure of all kinds of persecutions so that they recant their faith in Christ, but we always stand alongside them by constantly pointing them to Christ through His Word. Some of course fail to withstand the pressure along the way. Currently, there were waves of persecutions in Joni Village and Chipoka which were caused by radical Muslims and Sheikhs but sponsored by some of the very prominent Asians. They wanted to chase the disciples out of the villages because they were considered to be haram, rebels and betrayers. Fortunately, I called the Ministry of Religious Affairs who immediately came to our rescue. Please continue praying for us, because the situation is still not yet stable though. This time around, we are just sneaking them out of the villages to our main centre for Bible Studies, Adult Literacy Programs and other programs, though the exercise is very expensive because we hire the minibus because ours is broken down. We are very grateful for the financial support which makes this mission very possible and uninterrupted, though risky, but our faith is in Him Who called and equipped us for His purpose and glory of His Name.
We are still visiting and cheering the sick in district hospital with God's Word, prayers and some gifts. We also continue showing the love of Christ to the needy through sharing them with God's Word, food and clothes. This is made possible by your prayers, encouragements and financial support. We shall be ever grateful to God because of your love demonstrated through sacrificial giving.
