What we believe

Core Values

The Godhead exists in three persons.
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons, yet they are one God, sharing the same nature, attributes, and perfections.
The Lord Jesus Christ.
In His eternal existence as God, His incarnation and virgin birth, His death on the cross as the atonement for sin, His literal bodily resurrection from the dead, His present ministry of intercession in heaven, and His personal future return to earth.
The Holy Spirit.
convicts people of sin and their need to repent. His task is to conform believers into the image of Jesus. He indwells believers, leads them into all truth, provides daily guidance, bestows spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12), and produces fruit—most importantly love—without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (Galatians 5:22-23). By being filled with the Spirit, believers receive the power to live the Christian life (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18).
The Bible.
is the inspired, infallible Word of God and remains relevant and applicable to people today (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Mankind.
Adam was created innocent and pure. However, as described in Romans 5:12-21, he fell through the sin of disobedience. As a result, humanity has inherited a sinful nature and broken fellowship with God.
Salvation.
is by grace, a free gift of God apart from works. It requires repentance—a turning from one's own way to God's way—and is received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. All who receive Jesus are regenerated, or "given new life," by the Holy Spirit and become children of God. Furthermore, true salvation will be evidenced by a changed life.

Our Story

Aloha and Welcome to North Shore Christian Fellowship. We think the North Shore is one of the most beautiful places on earth.  Each winter, surfers from all over come to ride the waves here. In 1972 a group of these surfers became Christians and started up a Bible Study.
Over time, more and more people came to commit their lives to Jesus. Out of this move of God, North Shore Christian Fellowship was established. 

For over 39 years we have seen the faithfulness of God in our Church and in our lives.
We’ve also helped plant 4 other churches: Calvary Chapel Honolulu, Calvary Chapel Central Oahu, Calvary Chapel Wahiawa and The Mission in Sunset Beach. We have discovered that true happiness and fulfillment in life is not based on where you live, the climate or what you possess. True happiness comes only through a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
