Our Marriage Ministry is hosting a Christmas party, "Bethlehem Love Story: A Journey of Faith & Marriage," at Stanford and Kristine Brown's house this Saturday, November 29th. It is a potluck that starts at 6:00pm. Attire is whatever makes a person feel christmassy. There will also be a white elephant game (up to $25 per couple).

Partner with us to Bless a Child in Costa Rica!
This year, we are again asking our NSCF Ohana to join us in blessing children in Colorado de Abangares, a low-income town in Costa Rica where we have sent a short-team missions team the past 4 summers to build a home for a local family. Our teams have had the opportunity to interact with the local kids in the area, and we wanted to bless them again this year.
Starting this Sunday we will have a small Christmas tree with tags hung on it. If you want to sponsor a child, you will take a tag and write him/her a short message. We have a list of the children's names, so you can choose the child you'd like to sponsor. Don't worry - we will have some spanish phrases available to help you!
"Sponsoring" a child costs $50 (cash, check, Venmo), and that money will provide a backpack filled with school supplies for one child (their new school year starts in January). You can sponsor individually or go in with others.
The money and the gift tags will be mailed to our partners in Costa Rica, Kenneth & Elena Orozco, who will ensure the gifts are purchased and delivered.

Candy Canes Needed for The Parade
We will be needing a lot of "mini" candy canes for the Haleiwa Parade on Friday, December 12th. If you would like to donate a box or two, we would greatly appreciate it! Donations can be dropped off at the Info Table this Sunday or next Sunday, Dec. 7th.
